Earth Day in Union Square
Dozens of exhibitors, interactive displays, live performances and many kid’s activities to see! Earth Day 5K Green Tour
Participate in the 2nd Annual Walking Tour on April 22nd. Visit some of great sites of the city such as the world’s first underground park and help raise money for environmental education programs. It’s a great activity to enjoy with family and friends! Lunch will be provided by the Natural Gourmet Institute.
Take a Cruise!

Earth Day at Sahd Metal Recycling
This free family fun event will take place on Saturday, April 23rd. With over 25 educational and environmental exhibits, different vendors will teach families about the countless forms of recycling and how to be environment-friendly. Along with contests, great food and some charity activities, it’s great event to be a part of!
Visit a New York Park!
Some of the parks in the city prepared some Earth Day events and activities, too! You can volunteer in installing new plants at Fort Tryon Park, hike and watch Native American performances in Marine Park Brooklyn or help cleaning Prospect Park. You can also take a stroll and just enjoy the scenery at Central Park and Battery Park!
