The Village Halloween Parade is the “IT” NYC parade to go to! Whether you are part of the parade in costume or a spectator, this is the ultimate way to spend your Halloween. The parade will be held on October 31st starting at 7pm on 6th Avenue between Spring St to 16th St. Every year, the parade has a theme and this year’s is… Reverie! They want participants to recreate costumes based on their waking dreams and fantasies. The parade was created in Greenwich Village 1974 by mask maker and puppeteer Ralph Lee, as a way to engage families in the neighborhood. This parade is truly a Halloween spectacle to see!
